Helping prisoners get in to business
September 18, 2006
I found this link today, describing one man’s effort to get more entrepreneurial materials in to his local prison. Certainly the idea seems sound enough, and is likely worth the effort if it only helps a small portion of inmates turn their life around. Having watched the ‘30 days’ episode where Morgan is in a prison for 30 days, and learning of the people who were arrested days or weeks after being released, I think a focus on providing more avenues for learning about alternative behaviour models (business owner, for example) is nothing but a good thing. Will it help? There’s probably only one real way to find out – help support the idea.
