Hanging out in Reading, England

Well, hanging out is a bit overstated. I just got here a couple hours ago and crashed. Had a weird shower, and am now waiting to either have or cancel a conference call at 6 so I can head out to dinner. There’s a flash/flex developer group in Reading which I might try to head over to. My colleague Peter is with me, so I’ll have to see if he wants to go. Well, no, it’s in London (’near Reading’ my foot!). I think it’s too far to drive, considering a) it’s dark, b) I don’t know where i’m going (should have upgraded to satnav!), c) it’ll be late and we have business in the morning and d) there’s a congestion tax to pay just to go in to london with a car.

Sorry flexers - can’t you have it in Reading proper? Or Twyford?
