Best taxi service experience ever (in Raleigh/RDU)

Not much to say other that I had the best end to end taxi experience ever, using http://www.allamericanlimousinetransp.com/
Very long domain name, but great service. The owner (I think) asked me to email in specifics so he’d have them. No one has ever asked that before. I had some weird stuff – needed someone to meet and greet my wife at airport. Jimmy took care of the whole thing – they waited when my wife’s plane was delayed, and didn’t charge extra for it. Emailed a receipt to me this morning, called me directly when there was a change of driver, ensured he had all the right information.
Perhaps all of you have had that service all the time, but I never have. I’ve had people who can barely repeat back to me what I say without getting it wrong, delayed service, and mediocre attitudes from other taxi services over the years.
This was the best experience we’ve had in a long time. We don’t use taxis much, but would use them again in a heartbeat.

Thanks, good to know. We had the opposite experience with the cab company we *tried* to use to take us to the airport for our trip to CA a few weeks ago. They never showed up and we had to ask a neighbor to drive us instead! I tend to equate “limousine” with “expensive” though… was it?

About $75 for the drive, another $25 extra for ‘meet and greet’ service directly at the luggage pickup area. Mind you, we’re going close to 40 miles out to Youngsville, so that accounts for the $75 – to/from Cary would probably have been less, no doubt.

By comparison, another taxi firm I called quoted $55, but would *not* do the meet/greet service at all. So, it was about an extra $20 for the core limo/taxi ride from Raleigh airport RDU over to Youngsville, but the service was excellent.
